Build Your Career Keeping Alaska’s Trucks Moving

Vantage Parts & Service is a growing team of parts professionals, service experts, and problem solvers. If you take pride in your work, know your way around heavy-duty equipment or want to learn, and like the idea of customers counting on you, we want to hear from you.

Why Vantage

Real Work That Keeps Real Businesses Running

When a fishing fleet, a municipal plow truck, or a long-haul rig depends on the part you sourced or the repair you made, the work means something. At Vantage, you are not a number in a giant chain. You are part of an independent Alaska business where your knowledge is valued, your ideas get heard, and your work directly keeps the state moving.

We invest in our people because our people are the product. Industry training, VIPAR Heavy Duty network resources, and hands-on mentorship help you build a career here, not just hold a job.

How We Work

Do Right by the Customer

We recommend the right part, not the expensive one, and we own the outcome of every order. That honesty is why customers come back.

Know Your Craft

Heavy-duty parts and service reward expertise. We support training, certifications, and the kind of hands-on learning that makes you the person others call.

Back Each Other Up

Down trucks don’t wait, and neither do we. We pitch in across roles to get customers what they need, and we celebrate wins as a team.

How to Apply

A Straightforward Application Process

  1. Send Your Resume

Email your resume and a short note about the role you’re interested in. No lengthy cover letter required. Tell us what you’re good at.

  2. Talk With Us

If there’s a potential fit, we’ll set up a conversation, usually in person at the facility, so you can see the operation and meet the team.

  3. Show Us What You Know

Depending on the role, we may talk through real scenarios: parts lookups, customer situations, or shop work. Relevant certifications and licenses are verified at this stage.

  4. Join the Team

Offer, onboarding, and training. You’ll have a mentor from day one and a clear picture of what success in the role looks like.

Certification requirements vary by role and are listed in each posting. For many positions, experience and work ethic matter as much as credentials, and we help motivated people earn the certifications they need.

Equal Opportunity Employer

Vantage Parts & Service is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
